Every year, FIFA releases a list of 11 young stars who have displayed their enormous potential over the course of the calendar year, with this year's list as follows: Dominic Solanke, Fede Valverde, Josh Sargent, Jean-Kévin Augustin, Lewis Cook, Leon Goretzka, Hirving Lozano, Philip Foden, Rhian Brewster, Jann-Fiete Arp and Jadon Sancho.

Dominic Solanke (Liverpool)

The youngster joined Liverpool on a free transfer from Chelsea in the summer after being named the top scorer at the U20 World Cup.

Fede Valverde (Real Madrid)

'Los Blancos' spent €5m on the young Uruguayan, who is currently out on loan at Deportivo La Coruña.

Josh Sargent (Werder Bremen)

At the age of just 17, the American is considered one of his country's top young talents along with Christian Pulisic and he has followed in the footsteps of the Borussia Dortmund man by agreeing a move to Germany with Werder Bremen.

Jean-Kévin Augustin (Red Bull Leipzig)

The PSG academy product is notable for his versatility in attack and is capable of playing in any attacking position. The 20-year-old has featured sparingly in the Bundesliga so far this season.

Lewis Cook (Bournemouth)

The 20-year-old is considered one of English football's greatest hopes and captained his country to success in the U20 World Cup in the summer.

Leon Goretzka (Schalke 04)

With his contract set to expire in the summer, plenty of European heavyweights are circling the German.

Hirving Lozano (PSV)

The Mexican has taken the Eredivisie by storm this season, plundering 11 goals and seven assists in just 16 games.

Philip Foden (Manchester City)

The youngster shone in the U17 World Cup and is already a part of the City first-team squad despite his tender years.

Rhian Brewster (Liverpool)

The top scorer at the U17 World Cup, the Liverpool man is another of England's most highly-rated youngsters.

Jann-Fiete Arp (Hamburg)

The 17-year-old made waves in Germany when he had to ask for permission to play after 20:00 due to the country's child labour laws.

Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund)

It came as a great surprise when City agreed to let one of their most talented youngsters make the move to the Bundesliga in the summer, with Dortmund paying €8m for the privilege.
