Real Madrid fans were left downtrodden after their team failed to secure all three points against Levante, and none more so than Sergio Ramos, whose anger was visible after the home side's last-minute equaliser.
The Madrid captain was seen dressing down his teammates for their role in letting in the late equaliser, paying particular attention to full-back Marcelo and his lack of mobility. Footage from the game shows the centre-back saying: "'This cannot be, we are winning 2-1. A 50-50 and nobody sticks their foot in and after that... Marcelo, you are too static!"
The sixth draw of Real's season puts even more pressure on faltering manager Zinadine Zidane, with the ex-French national's side dropping further behind in the title race, and under threat of dropping out of the top four. The 'Galacticos' now sit in fourth, 19 points behind leaders Barcelona, and 10 points behind rivals Atletico Madrid.
Ramos, who scored the opening goal for Madrid, stated his disappointment after the game: "It is not normal to be at this distance. Something we have done wrong, letting out many points in games that were controlled. It has been one of our worst years."
He called on the team to stay positive as they begin the build-up to the first leg of their Champions league tie against PSG on February 14.
"We are disappointed because it was a game that we had controlled in general and in the end the points escaped us," he said.
