Both designs remain largely consistent with previous England kits, white for the home shirt and red for away. However there are some minor changes that you may not notice.
The numbers have been shifted from the centre of the shirt to the right hand side, and every shirt will have a rose stitiched onto the inside. The red away design also has a faint Cross of Saint George emblazoned across the front, mirroring the flag of England.

There was a surprise in store however. The 'pre-match top' which will be worn during warm-ups has taken its inspiration from the 1982 kit that England wore during the World Cup in Spain. It features a blue and red fade into white down from the collar.
Additionally, Nike have said they wanted to create a range that would be recognisably English without any of the insignia. To this end all numbers and lettering will be in a custom typeface, the same as that used on the London Underground and in the capital.
