Another week is done and dusted in Spain's Primera División. We take a look back at the 11 players that really stood out in gameweek 28.

Goalkeeper: Neto (Valencia)

The Brazilian has been back to his best in the last few weeks and he proved his ability once again against Sevilla. Neto was instrumental, pulling off a number of top drawer saves to ensure his side left with all three points.

Defender: Coke (Levante)

With a new manager against Getafe, a win was imperative. And a victory is what they got thanks, in part, to Coke's goal. With the possibility of relegation haunting the club, Coke's performances at both ends of the pitch gave the fans some relief.

Defender: Giménez (Atlético)

It was another day at the office for the Uruguayan who is in fine form this season. Giménez was formidable against Celta Vigo and significantly aided Oblak in keeping his clean sheet.

Defender: Juanpe (Girona)

Girona saw off Deportivo at home thanks to a goal from Juanpe who rose highest from a set-piece to steer the ball into the net to kill the game off at 2-0.

Midfielder: Coutinho (Barcelona)

You'd have thought Coutinho had been playing at Barca for a decade from how he played against Malaga. It seems his period of adaptation is over and, with a stunning goal, proved how integral he's going to be for the Catalan heavyweights.

Midfielder: Modric (Real Madrid)

Following his injury, Modric returned to the starting XI against Eibar and staged a spectacular show. He offered a pinpoint assist for Ronaldo and proved the critics that he's still one of the best centre-midfielders on the planet.

Midfielder: Raúl García (Athletic)

Two goals from the Spaniard brought a smile back to the Bilbao fans' faces. A quickfire double from Raúl García killed off Leganes and put an end to a bad run of form for the Basques.

Midfielder: Rodrigo (Valencia)

Rodrigo proves his credentials week in week out. In Sevilla, Valencia emerged victorious and all but secured their Champions League place thanks for two goals from the Spain international.

Forward: Loren (Betis)

Loren is Betis' star man at the moment. Everything he touches turns to gold. Loren added to his impressive goalscoring tally when he netted twice to ensure his side claimed all three points.

Forward: Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)

The Portuguese superstar simply cannot stop scoring this calendar year. Another brace for the five time Ballon d'Or winner saw 'Los Blancos' triumph away at Eibar. Ronaldo's second goal, a bullet header, proved to be the winner.

Forward: Griezmann (Atlético)

A stunning goal and an assist from the Frenchman eased Atlético to victory over Celta Vigo - yet another team that was no match for Griezmann's quality.
