In Poyet's opinion, Suarez has an advantage, and that's because at the moment Barcelona are used to winning without the goals. That's not the case in Madrid, as they trail their eternal rivals by eight points in La Liga.
"Barca are winning and Real Madrid are not. Real are missing Cristiano's goals, while Barca are coping despite the lack of Suarez's contribution," the former Brighton and Real Betis coach said.
"I can see Luis passing the ball for someone else to score, instead of being stubborn and refusing to pass in front of goal. The same thing is happening to Ronaldo, he is provided plenty of assists, as well as going for goal and shooting from all angles," said the Uruguayan coach.
On his compatriot Suarez, he added: "He's stuck in a bad run at the moment where everything he hits goes wide. All he needs is any kind of goal to go his way and everything will change."
