Shaun Custis, head of sport at 'The Sun', insists Jose Mourinho is starting to enjoy himself as United boss, and says the experienced tactician believes he has a team that can mount a serious title challenge this season.
Talking to 'Sky Sports', Custis said, "I do detect a glint in Mourinho's eye. He's starting to enjoy himself a little bit, enjoy the banter again.
"He was getting way too grump last season, and we wondered if we'd ever see the old Mourinho again. I like the old Mourinho. I think he believes he's got a team who could possibly win the Premier League this time around."
Sam Wallace, chief football writer for 'The Telegraph', added to Custis' comments saying, "they look promising, but you've got to look at the two teams they've played, West Ham and Swansea. The mood is buoyant at the moment, but it is changeable."
While football pundits are impressed by the Red Devils goal-filled start to the new season, United midfielder Henkrikh Mkhitaryan says his team are not getting ahead of themselves.
Mkhitaryan told 'MUTV', 'Let's not rush because it's only two games played. We still have 36 games to play in the Premier League. So let's go just step by step to try and win every game and at the end see where we arrive.'
