When Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants something, he will stop at nothing until to get it.
That is evident in his pursuit of in-form Tottenham striker Kane, who is at the moment, being linked with a move to the Spanish capital every day.
The aforementioned media outlet say that Mayoral, who is valued at €30m by 'Los Blancos', and former Spurs star Gareth Bale could be included in what is now being called 'Operation Harry Kane'.
Despite such intense speculation, the striker has insisted he is happy in north London, and club officials have no intention of selling their talisman, unless a bid in excess of £200m is tabled.
But their resolve could be tested, as 'El Gol Digital' report that it is Karim Benzema, rather than Mayoral and Bale, who will be used as makeweight in order to land Kane.
They add that the club is willing to to pay in excess of £100m plus Benzema for Kane, or £180m in cash.
Will that be enough to lure Kane away from White Hart Lane? Will Perez win this battle? Only time will tell...
