Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be singing for Real Madrid. The Swedish legend is hoping to keep playing in Europe and at as high a level as possible but after he offered himself to Real Madrid, the spanish cub has politely turned him down.
According to '90min' Real's lack of interest has two motives. Firstly, in terms of incomings, they are focusing their resources on capturing Monaco's 18-year-old boy wonder Kylian Mbappe and keeping Cristiano Ronaldo at the Bernabeu. Other than those two, the Spanish giants are not planning any big money deals.
The second reason is the Swedish forward's, shall we say, strong personality. Real don't want to ruin the excellent team spirit radiating from the dressing room at the Bernabeu by bringing in a divisive figure. There are also fears as to the severity of Ibrahimovic's current injury question marks as to when he would be available for selection.
Ibrahimovic's future remains up in the air and although he is understood to have offers from the USA, China and Mexico he believes his is still good enuogh to continue his career in Europe, however, barring a major u-turn, it will not be with Real Madrid.
