Following his team's thumping win, Jose Mourinho was asked what he put the result down to, with the manager responding confidently: 'the bench', he told Sky Sports.
'Our bench is really good, is really strong, you see the players that I brought to the game', he added, after Martial came on for United to find the back of the net for the second time in as many weeks.
'They are players with a lot to give, we knew that in the last 20 minutes a clean sheet would give us the three points but we thought let's go for more let's try to explore the fragile moment of the opponent', he continued.
To finish off, he sent a message of caution, the Portuguese manager wary of getting carried away after an impressive start with two wins: 'But last season we have six points after two games'.
