The news will come as a relief to Spurs fans everywhere, with the many fearing a big-money move for their star striker.
Kane has regularly been linked with moves to the likes of Manchester United after establishing himself as one of the best strikers in the Premier League. Since breaking into the first team in 2014-15, Kane has scored 78 goals in 116 appearances in the Premier League, including a remarkable 29 goals in 30 games last season which once again earned him the Golden Boot. Nevertheless, the England international has insisted that he will remain a Spurs player and says that he is excited to see the team continue to develop.
In an interview with 'The Sun', the 23-year old said: "Football for me isn't about money. I'm at Tottenham because I love this club and I see it going in the right direction,"
"I feel we are one of the best teams in England and Europe, so I'm excited for the future ahead."
"Everyone knows I'm a Spurs fan and that's where I want to be for the foreseeable future."
"I have a great relationship with the manager and the fans. At the end of the season I expect us to be up there fighting for that title again and hopefully we can turn some of our ambition into wins."
Kane's comments will come as great news for Spurs fans, who have been starting to grow frustrated with the lack of transfer activity from the club. It is believed that the West Londoners could still move to sign a second choice striker after Vincent Janssen struggled last season.
