A much-awaited day for Dani Ceballos has arrived. The former Betis man was unveiled in front of the club's board and his family as Real Madrid's latest signing.
The presentation act began with Real Madrid's president Perez welcoming the midfielder: 'We are going to present a new player who will help us generate new hopes'.
'A young player who is shining presently and will be a pillar of our team in the future. He was voted as the best player in the U21 European Championships in Poland'.
'Your firm conviction to wear Madrid's shirt has been key. It is the club where you have chosen to succeed, your eagerness to defend this badge makes us proud and we will not forget', he told Ceballos.
Once Real's chief had finished his discourse, Ceballos himself, visibly nervous, made his first statement in his new home.
'I want to thank the president for the trust invested in me from the very first moment. I had no option of saying no, my childhood dream was to be here. I come to sweat this shirt and make Madrid's history even greater. Hala Madrid!', Real's new signing said.
