The 27-year-old endured a slow start to life at Old Trafford but eventually proved himself to be one of Jose Mourinho's trusted on-field lieutenants last season.
Serie A champions Juventus have been linked with a move for the defender as the look to strengthen in the fluu-back positions following Dani Alves' exit and amid continued specualtion over the future of Alex Sandro.
Speaking to the press, Darmian said he was aware of the rumours but that he was paying no attention to them.
"Every time I read something about my future, but [there is] nothing news. I am happy here," he explained.
"I think also it is a part of our work, these kind of rumours."
"Like I said before, I am happy here so nothing news [wise]. I am a Manchester United player - that's it."
The Italy international also confirmed that he is happy to play wherever Mourinho wants him to: "I always say the position doesn't matter to me," he admitted.
"If I have to play left or right, I work hard to be ready when the manager gives me an opportunity, and that's it.
"I try to do my best every time, every game. I try to work hard during the week and that's my philosophy."
Darmian's versatility will almost certainly come in useful for United this season following their return to the Champions League. The full-back will be looking to prove once again that he is good enough to be a nailed-on starter at Old Trafford.
